چکیده
Introduction: Patients with end stage renal disease require hemodialysis. Radiocephalic arteriovenous fistula is the main choice of vascular access in patients who undergo hemodialysis procedure. Physiological vein distensibility an important aspect forming a mature fistula. This study aims to analyze correlation between preoperative and maturation. Method: Data are collected from Hasan Sadikin Hospital RA Habibie Hospitals that will go through radiocephalic procedure during period October 2018 February 2019. Vein distension performed before operation maturation evaluated four six weeks after operation. The comparison venous two different groups category analyzed using chi square test model. Result: found value affects statistical significance (p-value = 0.007), yielding contingency coefficient 0.553, very strong relation 0.782. Conclusion: Preoperative more than 30% predictive successful

Intravenous Regional Anesthesia (Bier Block) Method for Arteriovenous Fistula creation in patients with End Stage Renal Disease
Introduction: Hemodialysis through creation of arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is an established surgical procedure for patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Anesthetic methods management for this surgery should deal with different risk factors such as hypertension, ischemic heart disease and diabetes. Intravenous Regional Anesthesia (IVRA) or Bier block anesthesia as an option for AVF...
متن کاملThe relationship between Aldosterone level and various LV conditions in patients with End-stage renal disease
Background: Aldosterone has been assumed to be implicated in left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH). Preventing the progression of LVH in the early period of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) can increase patient survival. In this study, therefore, we analyzed the relationship between aldosterone level and LVH in ESRD patients who underwent hemodialysis at Fatemeh Zahra Hospital and Imam Khomeini Hosp...

INTRODUCTION With increasing numbers of patients diagnosed with ESRD, arteriovenous fistula (AVF) maturation has become a major factor in improving both dialysis related outcomes and quality of life of those patients. Compared to other types of access it has been established that a functional AVF access is the least likely to be associated with thrombosis, infection, hospital admissions, second...

Background: The mortality rate of sepsis and pneumonia is higher in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients than in the general population. Bacterial infections are the most common cause of hospitalization in dialysis patients and the most common source of bacteremia is vascular access in these patients. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of infectious causes of hospitalizati...
